Description: Replacement of various jet engine components and modules, i.e. high or low pressure compressor (HPC\/LPC), high or low pressure turbine (HPT\/LPT), fan blades etc. Disassembly and assembly of jet engine modules; Inspection, replacement or repair of worn, defective, or damaged components, using special tooling, gauges, and testing equipment Perform troubleshooting procedures to solve technical problems of jet engines and write technical reports\u037e Inspect, repair, replace and change jet engine components on wing and in-situation Requirements: DEC in Aircraft Maintenance, essential\u037e Computer skills, MS Office\u037e Experience working with whole engine of wing; Experience on the CFM56-5A\/B; -7B; Or experience on the V2500 engine; Borescope inspection, an asset\u037e Knowledge of the relevant methods of measuring and cracks inspection; Mechanical Skills: Engine mechanics will need familiarity with parts and components of engines, as well as the tools to fix them. Technical Skills: Need to be familiar with electronic diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot repairs. Manual Dexterity: Good hands and great hand-eye coordination; Troubleshooting Skills: Need to be able to look at engine components, identify problems, and think about possible solutions.
